Butcombe in your pub or shop
We now produce over 170,000 pints a week from our brewery in Wrington. As times and tastes change, so does our range of beers. Alongside Original, Gold and Rare Breed, you’ll find two craft lagers, Bohemia and Underfall, and two IPAs, Goram and Stateside, plus a range of exciting seasonal and small batch specials.
With a marketing leading rate of sale, high quality beer that travels well and our own distribution team there has never been a better time to stock our beers.
We also a multi-million pound, state-of-the-art bottling, kegging and distribution depot near Bridgwater. Contained within the 50,000 sq ft facility we have a brand new kegging and bottling facility which has been producing our high quality keg and bottled products since June 2018. With a capability to produce over 100,000 bottles per week, we now bottle for a number of fellow breweries alongside our own Butcombe and Liberation lines.

Original
Original
You can spot a true original a mile off. Like our Original brew. Bristol born and made to stand out. Created from Maris Otter malt and a secret blend of English hops. Meticulously crafted before ‘craft’ was even a thing. Its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshing flavour has been Bristol’s go-to for good times since the 1970’s. From the first sip to the last drop, you’ll never taste a beer quite like it. Our Butcombe Original bottles are suitable for vegans.

Food Pairing Butcombe Original is the perfect companion to tender red meat, lending a peppery character to full meat flavours. It’s the best friend of stews and warming winter pies and is always welcome at a summer BBQ.
Gold
Gold
Go gold or go home. Fearlessly brewed, this is a well-balanced, full-bodied golden beer with a subtle floral and herby aroma. A true Bristol sunset in a bottle, worth its weight in gold.
And now Gold is Gluten Free. All the taste of classic ale but just without the gluten. Made from dazzling Maris Otter malt, our exceptional golden ale won’t disappoint. Part bitter, part sweet, 100% refreshing.
Gold has been brewed using all the same ingredients and hops we have always used for our golden ale. Now though, at the fermentation stage we take out the gluten. Our Gold Gluten Free bottles are also suitable for vegans.

Food Pairing Gold is the perfect complement to a rich tomato ragu with al dente pasta, bringing out the earthiness of Italian herbs for a dynamic, satisfying flavour combination with a quirky twist.
Rare Breed
Rare Breed
Rare Breed is the result of Adam Henson’s dedication to sustainable farming and a passion for characterful, artisanal beer. Using the finest Maris Otter malting barley and aromatic Fuggles hops, delicious, fruity Cascade and Amarillo hops and, of course, purest Mendip Spring Water, Rare Breed is a distinctive, clean tasting pale ale with a smooth, citrus twist. A bold, standout beer that’s one of a kind. Our Rare Breed bottles are suitable for vegans.

Inspired by the mysterious tale of a crocodile being spotted in the River Avon in Bristol, our Tall Tales Pale Ale is undeniably delicious. A refreshing, fruity and light Pale Ale that is bold and full of character, with notes of Grapefruit, Pineapple and Lemon.
Tall Tales Pale Ale is also vegan friendly.

Goram Zero
Goram Zero
Goram IPA Zero, our multi-award winning low and no beer, has all the delicious taste of our Goram IPA but with none of the alcohol.
Based on our Goram IPA recipe, Goram IPA Zero is an easy-to-drink and refreshing non alcoholic beer. It’s brewed with a punchy blend of UK, USA and New Zealand hops which balance stone fruit, citrus and bitter notes. An alcohol free beer with all the aroma, taste and flavour of a normal IPA, it’s the perfect beer for those looking for a non-alcoholic drink.
Goram IPA Zero is a multi-award winning alcohol free beer, having recently won Gold at the World Alcohol Free Awards, to add to its Gold medals at the World Beer Awards, SIBA and Taste of the West.
Goram IPA Zero is also vegan friendly.

Everything’s bigger and brighter in the US of A. Inspired by the ‘land of the free’, brewed in the West Country, this is a punchy session IPA made from the best of the best American and English hops and malts. A refreshing transatlantic marriage of citrus, resinous aromatics and malty bite. Live the American dream. Our Stateside Session IPA bottles are gluten free and vegan friendly.
Our Stateside 500ml has been brewed using all the same ingredients and hops we usually use. At the fermentation stage we take out the gluten. Fully accredited with less than 10 parts per million of gluten by Murphy & Son. www.murphyandson.co.uk

Underfall
Underfall
All hail the harbour master. Triple-filtered, unpasteurised and unchartered. Our clean ultra-crisp triple-filtered lager is an homage to Bristol’s historic boatyard. Made with Perle, Saaz and Target hops for subtle hoppy notes, its unique character has earnt its name. A triumph by Brunel, a tribute by Butcombe, a lager worth spending time with. Our Underfall Lager bottles are suitable for vegans.

Ashton Press Cider
Ashton Press Cider
Long Ashton Cider Company is the cider side to Butcombe Brewing Co. Keeping the Long Ashton name alive, we’ve had Ashton Press Cider in our fold for nearly 14 years now.
Ashton Press is made from all English apples in the heart of the West Country, pressed locally and conditioned in oak vats, producing a wonderful medium dry, strong, golden cider of superb quality. Golden straw in the glass, our cider is fresh and fruity with a robust apple taste and a slight bite to finish.
Our Ashton Press Cider bottles are vegan friendly and naturally Gluten Free.
